Celena is a London based makeup artist with over a decade's experience in fashion, music and television. Originally trained at the London College of Fashion studying Fashion and Media makeup, Celena continued to gain experience working for MAC cosmetics. This hands on approach to the technical and daily application of makeup was invaluable and gave her the necessary experience of working with all skin colours and ages. Consequently Celena worked on many music/tv events and fashion shows as part of the MAC events team. After leaving the company to concentrate on her freelance career, Celena also worked a few seasons on runway shows in both London and Paris, assisting some of the most highly respected makeup artists in the business. Shows she worked on include amongst many, Helmut Lang, Louise Goldin, Asprey, Celine, Ellie Saab, Gareth Pugh, Hugo Boss and YSL.
Realising her heart was working in music, Celena was booked to work with girlband All Saints during their brief comeback in 2006. This culminated in being recommended at Universal Music to work with US artist Robin Thicke followed shortly by Queens of The Stone Age and Marilyn Manson, who now requests Celena on all his promos in the UK.
Over the past 2 years and currently to this day, Celena's work includes UK girl band The Saturdays for all of their music videos, television and live performances as well as a tour of Asia and the UK. Celena has also most recently worked with Aerosmith for their headline slot at the Download Festival 2010.
